Can
I monitor 16-multi-image (16 CH) screen
on TV monitor if I connect the P16-DVR
TV-OUT terminal to TV? |
|
| |
Yes,
you can monitor the same images on
TV screen as ones on the DVR main
screen. If you set the DVR main screen
to show 16 multi images (16 CH), TV
monitor displays the same 16 multi
images (16 CH). This works same for
4, 9 CH as well. |

What
are the differences of NetDVR, MSN,
and WebDVR? |
|
| |
Web
DVR enables users to monitor the images
transmitted from local DVRs on the
web browser with Explorer 5.5 or higher
versions without additional application
programs, while MSN and NetDVR each
have their own application programs.
Simply put, the WebDVR is realization
of NetDVR on the web. And Neo MSN
can be understood as a bigger version
of Net DVR, with other additional
functions.
|
|
|
 |
How
can I selectively monitor the camera
images from many local DVRs? |
|
| |
Click
OPTION button on the NetDVR and select
the camera you wish to monitor on
¡®Camera Setting.¡¯ Then click SCREEN
button and select Union Mode and click
OK.
|
|
|
 |
Is
it possible to control the DVR-interfaced
devices from the WebDVR? |
|
| |
Due
to the possible hackings of protocol
message on the web, it is not set
on the WebDVR. The device-control
function is designed in MSN and NetDVR
where only verified operators can
monitor the system. Users can only
monitor the DVR system on the web
via Neosyst WebDVR.

|
|
 |
I
can¡¯t connect to a local DVR from NetDVR.
Ping Test indicates no problems. |
|
| |
First,
check if the local DVR is working
properly. Do the Ping Test from the
local DVR to the NetDVR to see everything
is okay and do the Ping Test once
more from the NetDVR to the local
DVR.
Then, check if there is FIREWALL installed
on the network through which the local
DVR is connected. If so, you should
open a port to exchange data. Please
have your network operator consult
Neosyst experts if the problem persists.

Is
it okay to use other VGA cards than
ATI series? |
|
| |
If
the overlay function is not supported
properly, it is hard to display the
images from cameras on the monitoring
screen.
Our Neosyst DVR is best fitted with
ATI video card series. We recommend
users to use ATI series to get stable
overlay, even though other VGA cards
like GeFource series is compatible
with Neosyst DVR.
Recommend VGA card is as following:
ATI series of AGP Card, over BMB
Or other AGP Cards to support overlay
function
